Job role

Solely responsible for planning, preparing and implementing stimulating, age-appropriate activities in response to the children’s emerging interests and skills

Observes and records relevant information on each child's progress as required according to The Baby Lounge’s policies

Will majorly carry out pedagogic activities and supervise them when necessary

Ensures the correct administration of medications to children, when necessary

Provides a daily balance of active/quiet, indoor/outdoor, and individual/group activities 

Establishes and carry out a daily activity schedule that incorporates child directed activity, care routines and transition times 

Prepares week’s curriculum

Ensures the smooth transitioning from one activity to the other

Supervises and help prepare and fully set up learning & play environment

Supervise and discharge duties to the Early Care Assistants

Performs other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the Centre Director/Administrator or her designate

Requirements

HND/BSC in any field of study

Apllicants must be a female

Training in child development is a plus

2 - 5 years work experience

First aid certification is a plus

Previous experience as a Nanny or Babysitter is a plus

Excellent understanding of child development in different age stages

Ability to come up with creative ideas to educate and engage children

Multitasking skills

A pleasant and patient personality

Monthly Salary:

NGN 60,000 - 100,000
