Loan Officer

Location: Ikeja, Lagos state

Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities:

Evaluate credit histories, documentation, and process loan applications within specified time limits.

Recruit new loan and deposit mobilization through the marketing and sales of the bank’s products and services.

Complete loan contracts and educate clients on applicable terms and conditions.

Maintain and update account records.

Participate in market storms, community fairs and cluster marketing initiatives.

Post-disbursement monitoring.

Drive the reactivation of inactive and dormant accounts.

Ensure the retention of existing customers.

Maintaining a healthy portfolio.

Perform other tasks as assigned by the Team Lead.

Requirements

B.Sc. / HND or OND in Accounting, Business Administration, Marketing or related field.

2+ years experience as a loan officer in a credit or financial institution.

Good verbal and written communication skills

Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
