Quantity Surveyor

Location: Lagos state

Responsibilities

Prepare accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for residential and commercial construction projects

Lead and manage cost estimations and budgeting for government tenders and private contracts

Review tender documents and ensure timely bid submissions

Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and prepare accurate cost estimates.

Develop bills of quantities and cost plans for projects.

Manage project budgets and monitor costs to ensure financial efficiency.

Liaise with suppliers and contractors to negotiate pricing and ensure quality materials.

Provide cost advice and value engineering solutions to optimize project outcomes.

Prepare tender documents and assist in contractor selection.

Collaborate with site engineers and project managers for cost control

Track project variations and prepare valuation reports

Requirements

HND / BSc degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.

3–7 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor

Strong background in preparing government bid proposals

Strong fieldwork experience and ability to work on-site.

Proficiency in quantity surveying software (e.g., CostX, Bluebeam, or similar).

Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

Knowledge of local construction regulations and standards.
