Solar Technician

Location: Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

Assemble and install solar panels and systems according to site plans and schematics.

Mount panels on rooftops, poles, or other structures using hand and power tools.

Connect panels to the electrical system using wiring, inverters, and other equipment.

Inspect and maintain existing solar systems to ensure optimal performance.

Diagnose and fix issues with panels, inverters, or wiring.

Replace faulty components or upgrade outdated systems

Conduct site visits to determine solar feasibility and optimal panel placement.

Measure and analyze roof conditions, shading, orientation, and structural integrity.

Prepare reports on installation progress and maintenance activities.

Record data from system tests and inspections.

Maintain documentation for warranties and service histories.

Explain system functionality and basic maintenance to clients.

Provide support for questions or issues post-installation.

Requirements

HND/BSC degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or related field

3+ years of experience in electrical and solar installations and maintenance
