Team Lead, Business Unit

Location: Lagos state

Responsibilities:

Originate small business loans such as LPO finance; Invoice discounting, Clearing finance, Revolving Credit etc. 

Meet with Small Business owners to rightly review their financial requirements and suggest best financing solutions for them 

Meet SME loan production targets as set by the Board 

Market loan products to Small to medium scale business customers 

Monitor loan customers to ensure their loans perform 

Conduct proper KYC on potential loan customers 

Build and manage relationship with customers 

Manage loan portfolio quality in line with acceptable threshold as set by the Board 

Give regular feedback to Management in the areas of customer complaints, competitor offerings, market analysis, business opportunities and any other suggestions that can be useful to the Management in decision making 

Prepare weekly report on key loan performance for review by Management and Board 

Requirements:

HND/BSc in Economics, Business Administration, Accounting/Finance etc. or other business related field. 

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a marketing/ business department of a financial Sector

Candidate must possess proven & verifiable capability to mobilize significant investments into the business.

Very strong leadership skills and a rich industry network is very important.

Good knowledge and understanding of the Nigerian Financial services industry 

Highly motivated with strong commitment to work with customers at the bottom of the pyramid

Demonstrated track record in people management 

Good understanding of key risks affecting including but not limited to market, credit and operational risks.
